(tylko po angielsku) Welcome to our Public Policy course, designed to introduce students to the intricate world of policy development and implementation. This course aims to provide a foundational understanding of how public policies are crafted, analyzing the influence of various factors in the policymaking process. Using Paul Cairney's "Understanding Public Policy: Theories and Issues, 2nd edition, 2020" as our primary text, we'll explore key topics such as the role of power in policy decisions, the impact of psychology on policymakers, and the significance of institutions in shaping policy. The course also delves into theoretical frameworks like Punctuated Equilibrium Theory and the Advocacy Coalition Framework, offering insights into the dynamics of policy change. By the end of this course, students will be well-equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in policy analysis, ready to engage with the challenges of public policy. |
